Subject Where are database aliases stored & how are they used when installing on a user's pc?
Author Raymond Kennington
Suppose during development I create a database alias called Courier for

C:\My Documents\Courier Management System\Data\Courier.gdb

and I want to use this alias on a user's machine where they could install the application
in any folder they like.

During installation what is required to create a Courier alias? I want to have my app
reference the alias without knowledge of the physical location of the database.

Is the database alias stored in isc4.gdb?
