I have fairly recently gone through the painstaking task of
converting my apps from Paradox to IBO and IB6.0.1 ( To people just
getting into this – tougher than you think but worth it – esp if you
never used querys ! )

I the few months using interbase I have already encountered some of
the errors listed in FBs bug fixed list – e.g. "SFID 444463 Before
Triggers were firing after checks".

So it seems it makes sense to upgrade to FB.

My Questions.

Are there any hidden issues I will come across by anyone else's
experience of doing such an upgrade? I am aware there may be one or
two new reserved words ( knowing my luck I will have them in some
primary key ! ) and things like ambiguous querys not allowed ( that
should be sorted out anyway ) – are there any other things I should
prepare myself for ( that may not be obvious on first use ) ?

AND

My system is fairly stable on IB6.0 – should I not wait out for
FB2.0 ?
