I've just started getting problems with the registry where
the registry keys have decided they are owned by someone,
and no one else is allowed to use them. No problem seeing
them in 'regedit', but you need 'regedt32' to see what is
actually going on.
It's something to do with changes to the way windows adds
default information when it's not supplied, have not got to
the bottom, but just giving people access to the offending
key fixes my problem.
Don't know if that is part of your problem?
