At some time in the past, I tried several examples. In fact, I have the test
db for the beta versions storing all the clause.
However, I tried in something that says v706 RC2 and it has truncated the
OPTION keyword again.

It seems related to gds32, since when I do all the work from the bin
directory where the build binaries exist, I get the whole source without
problems.

Try using all the FB binaries, including gds32 and isql from the bin dir.
