Hi:

IB6 Installing on win2k

I am really hosed up here.

I get install to work but service won't start. Server will run if
not
as service.

I get following in event log:

"The local computer may not have necessary registry info or required
dll's"
or something like that. Also shows IBGuardian error 1063.

Clear event logs, uninstall and reinstall and get "The account name
is
invalid or does not exist or the password in invalid for the account
specified".

I have also gotten message that a file is missing when I try to
start from command line.

I have been going through embeded installation guide and notice on
page 29
regcfg.dll is listed. No such animal on my NT machine where i have
installed
mers build with wise.

Also same page it does not list ib_udf.dll and ib_util.dll as
shared which the
wise installer does in the registry.

Where can I get an accurate, complete and WELL organized list of
all required files and reg entries
required? I have gone through wise installer script and the IB install
log created by it
and I think I am including everything. I have also checked other
scripts for inno (shit)
and ISX (shit) to no avail.

It is not the machine as I installed IB6 using the wise and it
worked fine.
