I'd love to join you in this discussion about 'how it's done now? Does
Borland still have this limitation in IB 6.5 and still use MS Compiler to
build it'?
Alexandre: in portuguese-portuguese we use to say 'Em casa de Ferreiro
espeto de pau.' I don't know if you use this expression in Brasil. (Sorry
all the others, my english is to bad to translate this...)
But the question remains: can I use Borland C++ to compile it? Is the bug
that do not allow this building documented? (I own BC++ and Builder). Did
someone tried this already that could point me out some problems? Should I
use another compiler so things can go better in the future? Is someone
working on this already? Uff...
I just have experience with Borland Tools. Since Turbo C 1.0 :) running on
my old IBM PC Junior (8088).
Sean: I'm a quick learner. Please point me out some names of people that are
working on this, so I can talk to them and know about each compiler to use.
I can be usefull just in the win environment, my experience with linux as a
programmer is null. (I do know well how to use it, because I do lots of work
as network administrator).
