Lot's of system related problems.. It was version 7.2
Even gzip malfunctioned a few times.. I tried to set the damn thing for
several times from scratch.

Now Mandrake 8.(something) runs smoothly on the same machine. Just one
setup..

PS: I used redhat 6.02 for 3 years without any probs. I didn't have any
problems with that too..
