Greetings All,
One of my clients just installed a new database server: Win2000 Server with
Terminal Client Services.
I don't know much about Terminal Client Services but when I connect to the
server and bring up IBConsole, when connecting a message pops up stating
"the service has not been started - would you like to start the IBServer
service". (or something close to this). I click "Yes" and then I see the
IBServer icon in the system tray (near the system clock, lower right).
When I bring up the Services applet, Interbase Server and Guardian are
started.
Why am I getting the message the service hasn't been started when it appears
to be running?
If anyone has any ideas on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in Advance,
Kevin
