What about the opposite: accessing Interbase 5.5 database from Firebird 6 or
IB6 (is it accepted to call the borland's distribution "IB" as opposed to
"FB" for firebird?)? Are there any bugs reported.

for IB 6 so, if you get the expected results, it's a bonus.
Ha. Lately I am having serious problems with some of borland's code. To me
it seems that at least a couple of their devopments are going the
"Microsoft" way. :(((
