Paul,
This isn't the best forum for this type of discussion, I think we should
move this to the IB-Support list. Accordingly, I've cross-posted this
reply to that the conversation can be picked up there.
A couple of comments about your idea.
First, IB can't access non-local GDB files. The files must be stored on
the computer running the IB server.
Second, once you have the Linux box installed, you wouldn't need to
bother with the Netware box at all for IB purposes.

Helen:
I have an idea, I will experiment with it first, but maybe I will ask
the client to set up a small Linux box, have it login to Netware,
store the .gdb files on the Netware box. The client can slowly move
the interfacing to the Linux box, and eventually get rid of the
Netware box completely. Yeah I know it puts a lot bigger load on the
Network, but they are mostly on 100Mbps cards, and there is only 30-
40 users on the network. So even with the added strain it should be
OK.
Then again I may be completely out to lunch here, it wouldn't be the
first time, but if I can save the client $10K it would be worth a
consideration.

Or start wiening the client off Netware, which I think will be dead
in a couple of years anyway.....
