Oh crap, glad I didn't spend any real time on it :-)

The problem, is that the Netware box does two things, first it serves
groupwise mail. and second it serves the old database (btrieve).
It's going to be ugly enough converting the data to the new system,
without trying to change the server OS at the same time. Since they
spent the required mucho dinari on the Netware licences, getting them
to throw that away, is about as unlikely as getting them to get
another machine big enough to handle the new database temporarily.
