Thanks for posting that Markus. I guess that leaves the question as
to whether the bug is purely in the trigger - producing an error
indication where none exists - or whether the bug may be deeper.

This issue may have nothing to do with my problem - it caught my eye
because I suspect my backup/restore problem is somehow related to
compound keys and/or indexes that use key fields.

I have been trying to tie down this problem into something small
enough to send in for investigation - without any luck so far. I may
play around with this a bit further and see if it leads anywhere.
