Hello Ann, thanks for the reply.
I set the db to read only using gfix -mode read_only
this worked ok (and I confirmed that the db is actually
read only).
Then, using gbak -b I get the following error report:-
gbak: ERROR: internal gds software consistency check (wrong record length
(183))
gbak: ERROR: gds_$receive failed
gbak: Exiting before completion due to errors
gbak: ERROR: internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after
bugcheck)
I also tried to gbak with the -ignore and -garbage_collect
options, this also produces the same error report.
What do you suggest now ?
