I'm looking to upgrade to using FB sometime in the near future from my
current situation of IB4 but there are some questions.
I have UNIX based C programs running which are licenced clients of IB4.
They run on IRIX. Can I update the precompilier libraries and recompile the
programs to get the additional functionality or ... ? Will they work at all?
do I have to restrict myself to dialect 1?
I will also have a 2000 Terminal Server machine with multiple users running
applications connecting to FB, has anyone done this? anything I should watch
out for? what do I need to install on this machine?
the FB machine will be NT (not my choice but all that's available)
any recommendations, suggestions for a stable well-behaved installation
