Subject RE: [ib-support] RC1 Error

C:\Program Files\FireBird\Bin>gstat -h d:\navco\db\navco.gdb

Database "d:\navco\db\navco.gdb"

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

My challenge right now is to break the 200 gig barrier, something that I've
been unable to do with 5.6, and was hoping Firebird would allow me to do.

I've seen an error similar to this in 5.6, but assumed that it was due to
the number of external db files that it had (over 100), however, this one
only has three files, and it was successfully writing to the third one when
it stopped.

The machine is a NT 4 Workstation w/512 megs, and it isn't running any
additional services, just the server and the program that's filling it
(connecting through localhost:d:\navco...).

The page size is 8192.

If you need any more information, or have any ideas as to a solution, please
let me know.

Bill

What happens if you try running gstat -h against that database.
(If only an operating system would give some hint of what resource
it lacks...)
