Is it error or feature? I will try to describe the situation. If you
make 2 transactions: let say from 1. IBconsole "update A set values
..." and then without commit from 2. IBconsole "update A set values
...". Second transaction is on deadlock and waiting. So it's OK. Then
make commit from 1.IBconsole. Immediately you will receive error
message from 2.console. We tested situation with other dBases (DB2) - no
errors. This happens in real web application, when many users on the
same time access the data.
Can somebody give any suggestions. I have Firebird SS on RedHat
Linux.
