Both IB6 and FB use the two set of API calls. Using the service manager may
be a pain. If you are happy with the IB5.6 three calls, then use them. They
still work.
The encription method is known. I think it's inside the FreeUdfLib, for
example. Also, you can read the FB sources and follow the encryption
algorithm. It's a public and non-proprietary algorithm.
