You are ridiculous, respectless and the worst is that you do not even
help the firebird users by writing such stupid rants.

There is a difference between commenting a behavior in a not so
friendly manner and attacking person in the way you are doing it here.
Not that I care about what you think or not about me, but I'd to say
it.

Now about the two solutions, it is already decided. There will be no
firebird support for 5.3.0, door is still open for 5.3.1 obviously.
The solution #1 has been done too as well, many times.
