off topic....
all my research on mysql Vs mysqli (www.mysql.com) reads that it (the i
version) (interalia) has improved protocol OTW and provides for statement
preparation..
But the comments and code in ADODB is more clearly attempting to state that
mysqli offers transaction control.
Do you know anything here? I always thought that mysql requires transaction
tables (e.g. innodb) to provide for anything that you or I would consider
transactions in FB speak.
Or is there something else here I'm missing?
