I've been trying to configure Firebird SS 1.5 in Mandriva 2006, Apache 2 and PHP 5 environment and I'm having a hardtime for several days now. Firebird SS runs and installs perfectly in Mandriva but I can't get PHP 5 working. I've recompiled PHP and generated the interbase.so file but when I test it, Firebird (ibase_*) functions remain undefined. Has anyone in the group successfully configured Firebird SS 1.5 in the same environment? Any piece of advice, tips, or reference to documentation(s) will be appreciated. Thanks.
