on a little more serious note - that which is open to misinterpretation
invariably will be misinterpreted - there is a propably a 'law' somewhere
to back it up (where is Murphy wehen you need him eh)

Nigel could have been a little verbose and asked some formal questions rather
than just throwing out a comment. (which he just has :-)

anyway I cc'ed the extensions developer - maybe, with a bit of luck, and if he
is not too busy he will give a comment that will be more helpful/constructive...

I still firmly believe that firebird is the hottest's db extension you can
couple with php - and I guess I was being a little defensive because I was
personally involved with the extensions
