Hello everyone
www.argylltelecom.com <http://www.argylltelecom.com/>
I have a couple of vacancies for Interbase/Firebird Engineers within my
business, Argyll. We are the UK's #1 service provider for 'lone worker
monitoring' and utilise a sophisticated home grown database to manage
vulnerable individuals facing risks of violence, aggression, accident or
ill-health. The service is delivered via a choice of GSM devices and our
infrastructure utilises various interfaces that manage voice; sms; GPRS
and VoIP these are integrated with location technologies and mapping.
An integral part of the application is the use of location technologies
to identify the specific/approximate location of devices and we utilise
a combination of GSM and GPS technologies to provide data before
overlaying onto Google mapping. Any previous experience of mapping and
in particular working within MS Compact Framework/Symbian/Java will be
welcome.
As the services develop we are now offering Web services to our clients
and are seeking personnel with experience of working within physical and
virtual server environments.
As part of the development I now require:
1. A Project Engineer with core competencies and management
experience. You will be a 'hands-on' engineer manager used to working
within a small team environment against strict deadlines and budget.
2. A Software Engineer to deliver front end user interface and web
service apps
3. A Support Engineer to assist in all areas including local
network (MS Exchange/SBS) hardware and client support
The vacancies are based in Dunoon and Port Glasgow (12 minutes from
Glasgow Airport) so if you would like to apply, or if you know of
someone who may be interested please forward my details.
