Someone recently asked me what version of JDBC JayBird supports? I am
aware of the two types available, JDBC Type 2, and Type 4. However seems
there are also versions of JDBC, base on jdk version etc.
I assume its the reason for different jdk version specific code in the
sources? So JayBird will compile using what ever the lastest JDBC
version the jdk supports?
Just looking for some clarity, also if possible adding info along these
lines to the JayBird documentation. The inquiring party had attempted to
find out on their own. But were unable to, thus asking me?
