Thanx guys for all the help and suggestions about my problem with some
inserts failing using JBird.

I have tried some of your suggestions and the problem seems to continue. I
know it is quite a strange problem and propably the answer is a little
detail I am forgetting. Even so, I decided to install back InterClient and
use InterClient/InterServer to access Firebird. Surprisingly the application
is now working just fine (all the inserts are ok).

I dont want to declare a bug on JBird (wouldnt be that pretentious!). It is
just about registering on the list these obscure happennings.

By the way, any other idea about what could be happenning?
