I'm jumping in at the deep end here, but so far so good and my head is
above water.
Have been running Firebird on a Linux server for some time, but am in
the process of moving over to a Linux desktop machine and StarOffice6
has eliminated most of the remaining problems.
In order to go the next step I need a datasource for StarOffice, and
JDBC would seem to be the best option. ( Unless someone has a better
way of doing it in Linux ).
So the questions
Where do I start? Interclient or the new one?
How do I get it working anyway? The downloads seem a little bare on
information and this is my first attempt at this java stuff <g>
