Hi,

I have finished an early release of my GDS implementation
in Java talking to the 3050 port.

It supports database functions, transaction functions and
dynamic SQL functions.

At this moment, it does not support Arrays, Blobs, Services
and Events. But this functionality will be provided in a
near future.

Now we can start the development of a type 4 JDBC driver
using this API.

Please, review it. I will commit it in the CVS tree in a
few days (under the client-java subtree) if you like.
