Few questions:

a) How this group is supposed to know what message to communicate, e.g
whether we compete with MySQL or we are friends? I guess we need a
Strategy Department first.

b) How are you going to prevent others from talking in other places?
In a company you can fire those who communicate wrong things, you can
sue them. Should we ban them from our newsgroup?

c) Good propaganda requires a lot of work, where are we going to get
money for it? What will be better - spend money on FB-Vulcan merge or
documentation project or to get a nice PR Department?

So, as you see, I'm currently a bit sceptical about the feasibility of
such thing. On the other hand, it would be great to have it. Maybe
somebody with lots of money will just come and provide couple of
millions to Firebird Foundation... :)
