I think sub-slogans can be a good idea, if they are done well. Roman
proposed a "rotating" slogan, which is a bit similar. Perhaps it is
best to have a main slogan finished, before delving into a set of
suitable sub-slogans.

For the slogan I was thinking how we can turn our greatest weakness
(limited mass market visibility) and turn it around to a strength,
aikido like. That's how I came up with "Firebird: Beyond Hype".

I think most IT people have heard of the "hype cycle": it starts with
a "peak of expectation", then goes through a "trough of
disillusionment", to end on a "plateau of performance".

This slogan defines us in a place where we want to be and at the same
time explains the limited visibility to newcomers: when it comes to
the mid-market, the others are all marketing and hype, we are
reliable, proven performance.
