trust me when I say it that it would have been an honor to have you
as a commercial support. Unfortunatelly I am not a decision maker at
my company. I guess the decision of going with MSDE was based on the
same reasons as going with VSS vs Perforce.

There used to be a saying: Nobody gets fired for going with IBM.
Nowadays it's more like Nobody gets fired for going with Microsoft.

Btw, MSDE did beat FB 1.5 in a few specific performance tests, and it
was enough to sway some people
