Hi Folks,
Miroslav Penchev
Well I'm not using any of these programs yet, but there is another problem with 'legend'.
The word has at least a dual nuance of meaning.
Quick example, we group together
"legends and myths"
in a non-complementary fashion, as "unreal".
The positive element is more like "Babe Ruth was a legendary ballplayer".
Even there most legends are not "continuing". They are more memory.
It's strength is more in irony .... we think of legends as thousands of year old ..
The irony is sort of like when you see companies proudly display
"Established 2004" .
They are using a concept of longevity and combining it with their own freshness and newness.
One thing, it is understandably hard for someone not living in an English-speaking country to get a feel for slogans and mottos and such.
Shalom,
