Hi all,
Thanks for your replies. I has been an interesting read. Especially
Geoff's rather long (but very well written) security article. It
covers a lot of good points and reaffirms my thoughts. Ultimately I
feel he is right, no matter what you do, you can not have 100%
security if you do not control the environment in which the DB (or
anything else) is hosted.
With regards to marketing. I am thinking of ideas to actively promote
Firebird. More throught the internet than anything else. I'll let you
know when I have something more concrete.
