Sorry if this has been posted as an issue before but my searches
didn't reveal quite the same.
Im hearing a lot of people who are reluctant to use Firebird due to
the lack of users/information supporting it. Whilst this may not be
the best method of deciding a database dev there are many
alternatives out there and I can't help think that Firebird may
be 'skipped over' when it is actually someones ideal solution.
Have you guys thought about creating a Forum for communication
exactly like this list which can be indexable by google/all others?
My guess is that if a business/induvidual can actively see others
being helped and implementing Firebird successfully, they would be
far more likely to take it up themselves, or at least investigate it
further. Google presence is everything!
I know you guys are more than capable of setting up something like
this yourselves but I'd be happy to oblige if necessary (though i'd
have to use MySQL for stability reasons ;) j/k)
