I use IBExpert so I don't know about ibAdmin, but you may
try this example:

aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd:F:/Xitami/webpages/ibtests/data/test.fdb

where

aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the IP address of the server.
The IP can be replaced with the server's name but I think
you may need to edit your Windows HOSTS file so that the
machine can be found by it's name.

F:/Xitami/webpages/ibtests/data/test.fdb

is an absolute path to the database, as seen from witin the
server. You may also define that path as the alias in FB
1.5 to hide the abolute path where the database is located.

And of course make sure that the user/password you are
using to conect exists on the FB serer.
