I just picked it up last week. I have a specific project in mind and
coming from an Oracle background, I'm finding a good bit of familiar
stuff here. The book is well laid out with a good intro primer on
client-server database architecture. So far I really like the book. It
reads well.

One question I had was concerning the sample database, employee.fdb.
Ms. Borrie's comments in Appendix VI indicate that a new,
better-designed sample database was in the works and would perhaps be
around in late 2004. Does anyone have any word on it? Thanks in
advance for any info.
