I guess a name change is in order in light of recent events.

I propose that the Firebird DB name change to MozillaSQL should be
announced for the following reasons:

1. We can reuse the work of the AOL lawyers in determining that nobody
would confuse Firebird (the Browser) with Firebird (the Database). The
same should apply for Mozilla.

2. It would be esier to get funding for projects with Mozilla in their
name.

3. The icons of Mozilla and 'DB formely known as Firebird' are
'compatible'

4. Renaming Firebird to Fallus would be lame.

5. Renaming Firebird to 'Firebird the MozillaSQL' is much cooler.


BTW, I honestly think that this strategy would be more effective than
spam wars.
