Noone in their right mind would confuse the browser with the database.
At worst, they would think that the two projects share developers in
some way.
If anything, I consider it an insult to the hard-working, dedicated
developers of the Phoenix/Firebird project that you are so aggressive
in your stance against the name. Both are excellent teams, and the
name "conflict" is not apt to hurt either project.
Your elitist attitude is more of a problem than any name conflict.
And besides, shouldn't Pontiac sue both of you? ;-)
