Brendan,
You know what I really find annoying ...
Asa saying things along the lines of "it's legal -
get over it". Asa trying to drag in open source and
other projects that have actively died over 3 years
(the BBS project), are obscure very old computer
games, or low profile IDEs (as a subproject) of some
kind of open source project registered at SF.net in
2002!
And all this to prove us (Firebird DBMS) wrong!
Hello!! Are we connecting here?! It's all after-talk.
You don't prove someone wrong with weird and obscure
facts for something very simple - you _could_ have
asked. All we get now is a stepped upon feeling and
a VERY VERY "corporate" attitude from the Mozilla
guys. And YES, Mozilla is high profile, most probably
the best reason why they SHOULDN'T have done this
and the best reason for us (me) to complain about it.
Just my 0.02 ...
