If the conference organizers are interested, you might put together
a panel with a representative of each group. Both Postgres and
MySQL/SAP/MAXdb have several people who regularly attend shows.
Firebird can also provide an expert - probably even one who speaks
Dutch. Open-source databases are becoming a major factor in the DBMS
world and it's probably in the interest of all the attendees to have a
good panel discussion. Getting the word out about open source is one
thing all the projects support.
