Hey Guys,

How does one go about upgrading a previous install of FB? I'm
running FB 1.5 Release 6 on a Red Hat Linux 9 box. Now I want to
install Release 7. I've tried the following RPM command, but it
says that FBGuard is still running:

rpm --install --force FirebirdSS...rpm

I guess the real question is: who do I shutdown FBGuard? Any help
here is appreciated.
