Someone once said that you must backup/restore IB on a regular basis (I
believe it was a lady on the FireBird Development team, Anne maybe ?). One
of the reasons for doing this was transaction numbers.

Apparently you are limited to a total number of transactions, this number is
reset when you restore, this number is proportionate to the page size of
your database.

Who was it who said this ? Would you mind informing me of the exact details
please ? I rarely check my mail here at work so could you CC it to
