heeded, there is nothing out of control about that. If appropriate
apologies or assurances are provided I am certain that such a decision
can be reconsidered.
With that said...
I dont care much about the logo, the website or conversations
pertaining thereto.
I DO CARE when discussions get unnecessarily personal or aggressive -
as conversations have been on this list for many days. Our community
is too small to alienate people, especially when it is obvious that
most involved do care about the future of Firebird.
Remember that a community must learn to operate with tolerance,
consensus and compromise if it wishes to be successful. This does not
mean that you cannot have your say, it simply means that you try to
respect one another. It also means that you sometimes need to remind
yourself that not all messages need a response.
This is not directed at any single person, several contributions
recently have posted with inflammatory comments. These only aggravate
and extend discussions that may otherwise be completed much more
quickly and concisely.
So PLEASE, re-read your emails BEFORE SENDING and remove inflammatory
remarks or childish retorts. Such words may pass and be quickly
forgotten in normal conversation, but with email they remain stark and
menacing for a long long time.
Regards to all.
