I've got PHP on my website. I don't have control of the firebird domain
name though so we couldn't set up the site as firebirdsql.com or whatever it
is. Perhaps, if all goes well someone could point to the site for trials
eventually.

Markus and Pavel,

Do either of you want access to the webspace, if it is setup?
Perhaps I could set up several webspaces as trial versions and people could
pick the one they like the best.

I have offered before to host the webspace for 2 (or three years -- can't
remember), my offer still stands.

The site could eventually be transferred to the Source Forge.
