Please don't flame me, I wasn't trying to be nasty, just play the
devils advocate..

However, showing unity is important.. I can see how people are
frustrated with Borland. But they made the decision, and they
shouldn't try to backtrack on it...

If its not viable for their business model, they should walk away
from Interbase.. and stop trying to obfuscate..

I do think they could make it viable.. They just need a different mindset...

I don't think they understand open source...
