2. Interested in FireBird development (I presume that anything super
coming
out of the BadLand will get noticed here.

I would suggest you join the Firebird project on SourceForge.net and
then join the Development list.

You will be kept abreast of the latest builds, ports and upcoming
features. You will also be receive updates to the reported bugs, so you
can also be kept updated on what's going wrong.

3. Interested in the general goss as it develops.
