I do use the Centura database on Novell and Win 9x, and I know that there is
a big company using it to provide services throughout the whole island here
in Mauritius. However I have not use it for real development work and
therefore can't say much about it. But as a end user of the database I have
not encountered any problems that far (4 years in operation now).

Hmmm.... I wonder what prompted this?

I don't know much about Centura's DB lineup. From there Web Page, they seem
to have three DB's available: Raima Database Manager (RDM), SQLBase and
Velocis Database Server - all of which claim to be "embedded Databases" and
run SQL in some form. Has anyone used any of them, or know anything about
them?

They claim they will be releasing the source before Feb 29. Makes you wonder
what Inprise it doing, doesn't it?
