I have already looked/read the documentation but I find it
unclear.

I have also searched on mers.searchsite.

Perhaps no one has asked the question??

I certainly will. But since the whole purpose of these groups is
to share knowledge, I guess no one knows.

I find it difficult to distinguish between support (what's wrong
with my SQL?) and what I perceive as much different, my question.

What is the difference between architect and IBDI?
