This probably fits OSS, but definitely breaks FSF guidelines.
However, the fact that Linux is distributed under GPL does not prevent
packagers like Caldera or RedHat from making money off it.
Developers must change. As soon as the code is open, there's no more excuse
for obscutiry and lack of documentation.
VARs will also need to modify their business models. If the code is (L)GPL'ed,
it's no longer possible just to sell a pre-built binaries. After all, VAR is
value-added reseller, and in such situation this term should be taken literally.
