Robert,
You will notice that you aren't the type of VAR I was referring to. There
are some VAR's that make quite a lot of money on selling InterBase
licenses... I guess this all begs the question, "How many VARs out there are
making a lot of money off their InterBase sales?".
I think we will find the majority of VAR's delighted because now they can
simply sell their products and not have to pay so many royalties. (Assuming
that the license affixed allows this. Who knows...)
Thanks for making that point though. I don't think I made my point clear
enough. We do actually agree...
