We need to expand Interbase into new areas, could you look into FPK and it's
Interbase library (in the contributed units area)

We need to make a viable migration path for all the delphi developers until
Jason has his tools ported onto the other platforms as well.

In the long term, anything you learn would directly assist Jason in any porting
projects - your background with compilers is the key here.
