I have FKP installed. Honestly, programming in something other than C for
Linux is a royal pain. All man pages, all docs and examples are C-oriented.
Not all the libraries have correct interfaces in other languages, some libs
have no interfaces at all.
Also, it's barely possible to adopt GNU portability practice to other
languages, eg most of m4 macros used to build configure scripts are
absolutely C-oriented.
If this all doesn't scare you :) Well, then also have a look at Lazarus
project and libxforms.
